My Town Toy Company started as a spark of inspiration while playing with the designers' then 1-year old daughter.   How, they wondered, were the words in their daughter's "First Words" book chosen to be her "first words?"  In this moment, My Town Toy Company's mission to inject local culture into children's toys was inspired.  Launched as a Little Miss Muffin backed Kickstarter project, My Town Toy Company's NOLA Food Shapes Puzzle was created by locals, for locals and NOLA lovers.
